The United States of America is one of the largest exporters of forest products worldwide. A total of 19.5 billion kilograms of processed wood is produced and exported from the country annually. The large variety of timber exported from United States include: Alder, Cherry, Gum, Hickory, Poplar, Maple, Elm, Oak, Ash, Walnut, Pine, Tulip, Hemlock and Douglas Fir among many others.
