Resin bonded slab consist of long fine fibers spun from molten natural rocks, bonded with a thermosetting resin slab which provides excellent thermal insulation, fire protection and sound absorption.
Slabs are mostly used in acoustic insulation works for auditorium, theaters and industrial areas where noise reduction is required
Incombustible when tested as per IS : 3144. Melting point of fibre is above 1000 ° C (1825 ° F). Complying with BS - 476 Part 4 and ASTM E -136.
Rockwool Slabs are designed for a wide range of applications, at both high and low service temperatures. They are also suitable for thermal insulations of ducts, large vessels, cavity walls, curtain walls and sandwich panels.
